Greetings from the International Students and Scholars Center. This is an important update for all of our F-1/J-1 degree-seeking students. Please be sure to read this email in its entirety.

Starting today, the ISSC will no longer send I-20s to F-1 students and DS-2019s to J-1 degree-seeking students via email. Instead, you will now have access to a Document Portal within the MyISSC eForm Portal.

When you submit a request for an I-20/DS-2019 or the ISSC needs to issue you an I-20/DS-2019 for any reason, you will receive an email notifying you that your new I-20/DS-2019 is available to download from your Document Portal within the MyISSC eForm Portal.

For more information on how to use the Document Portal, please watch our instructional video.

Document Portal

As always, you will still need to print and sign/date your I-20/DS-2019 in the Student Attestation section with blue ink. Presenting an electronic I-20/DS-2019 on your phone, tablet, or laptop will not be acceptable for any official purpose.

One of the benefits of this change is that you will be able to access any I-20/DS-2019 issued to you from June 12th onwards as long as you retain access to log into your MyASU. You will always be able to access the most recently issued I-20/DS-2019 and any other I-20/DS-2019 issued to you after June 12th.

As a friendly reminder, all F-1/J-1 visa holders are required to keep all of their original Form I-20s/DS-2019s, and the ISSC is not obligated to keep copies of Form I-20s/DS-2019s. Please make sure to keep any old I-20s/DS-2019s that you still have and other immigration documents in a safe place indefinitely with your other important documents.
