On July 17, 2026, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security published a final rule eliminating Duration of Status for certain nonimmigrant students and exchange visitors. ISSC is coming to a campus near you
This is a reminder that an ISSC staff member visits the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic and West Valley campuses every week. The schedule is as follows:
- Downtown Phoenix campus: Every Tuesday.
- Polytechnic campus: Every Tuesday- Thursday.
- West Valley campus: Every Tuesday.
During each campus visit, the staff member will hold drop-in advising hours and meet with students on a first-come, first-served basis. Please review our webpage for the drop-in advising hours at your campus.
We can assist you with a variety of matters, including:
- Maintaining lawful status.
- Social Security letter certification (after your eForm has been approved).
- Enrollment issues.
- SEVIS New Student Check-in.
- Taking a break from studies.
- Cultural adjustment.
- Employment authorizations and more.
