Are you planning to travel outside of the U.S. during the winter break? Be sure to submit your travel signature request to the International Students and Scholars Center to avoid any delays. Processing time can take up to 10 business days.
How do you know if you need a travel signature?
Check page 2 of your I‐20 or page 1 of your DS‐2019 for a valid travel signature. Travel signatures are required to re-enter the U.S. and are valid for one year from the date last signed by an ISSC advisor for current students. For students on OPT, signatures are valid for only six months from the date last signed by an ISSC advisor.
How to get a travel signature?
Submit your travel signature request for your I-20 or DS-2019 document using the ISSC Self-Service Portal.
