Global Citizens are developed by exposing students to humanitarian issues which inspires them to facilitate change within their local communities.
The Sun Devil Global Connections program at ASU connects international Sun Devils with local community hosts for mentorship, friendship and support as students and scholars transition to living in the greater Phoenix area.
The Global Peer Mentor Program connects first-year international students who are not able to arrive in the U.S. on time for the spring 2021 semester with a current ASU student as your Global Peer Mentor. Your mentor will help you get connected with the ASU vibrant community and campus resources virtually until you are able to arrive on campus. You need to enroll in Spring 2021 courses in order to be assigned with a Global Peer Mentor. If you have any questions, you can contact us at InternationalWelcome@asu.edu.
The Spring 2021 ISSC F-1 Student Webinar Series will address international student concerns you may face throughout your academic career and beyond. We will cover topics such as maintaining status, common client services questions and work authorizations (CPT, Pre-OPT, Post-OPT and STEM OPT). Each webinar will include a question and answer period so that we may address your concerns. Don’t worry if you are unable to attend a webinar that interests you. Each webinar will be recorded and posted to the ISSC YouTube page.
