Free tutoring in a variety of subjects is available to all enrolled students.
Supplemental instruction offers free structured study sessions for select courses, led by specially trained students who have successfully completed the class. Sessions are free to all students.
Writing Centers offer a dynamic, supportive environment for students at any stage of the writing process. Tutors from a wide range of majors help students sharpen writing skills and gain confidence in their writing.
Graduate students can work with graduate writing consultants to sharpen their writing skills and to receive coaching advice about navigating graduate studies.
ASU offers a variety of academic success courses to assist students in developing strategies for academic success.
Resource permitting, ASU’s Writing Programs offers a graduate-level writing course for international graduate students for whom English is not the primary language. Use ASU Class Search to enroll in a section of ENG 594: Academic Writing for International Graduate Students.
ASU’s Academic Foundations Program helps you build necessary skills for academic excellence and adjust to life at a prestigious American research university.
Designed for new graduate students, ASU’s International Graduate Student Conference allows students to navigate their conference experience in order to prepare for a successful experience as a graduate student at ASU. Conference sessions cover areas such as academic expectations, professional development, student services and cultural and leadership.
UASP academic mentors are ASU students who can help you stay on track, improve academic skills and address any concerns you may have. The peer-to-peer interaction and mentorship create a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere for students seeking assistance.
ASU Global Guides are current domestic and international student leaders who volunteer their time to help new international students transition to life at ASU.
