Are you planning to travel during the fall semester? If so, you may need to update your fall 2020 plans with the International Students and Scholars Center.   Tell us your plans for the fall 2020 semesterAll students were required to complete this eForm due to guidance from the Student Exchange Visitor Program as of July 24, 2020. You must inform the ISSC about your plans to continue your studies with ASU for the fall 2020 semester. If you have not already, please do so immediately. Reported being inside the U.S. with plans to depart for home country If you previously reported that you were studying inside the U.S. and have plans to depart the U.S. before the day of your last academic requirement for the fall 2020 semester, you must report your departure via this eForm so we can issue an updated I-20. Reported being outside the U.S. with plans to travel to the U.S. If you previously reported that you were studying outside the U.S. and have purchased a plane ticket to travel to the U.S. before the day of your last academic requirement for the fall 2020 semester, you must complete this eForm with your travel plans for the semester. Depending on your situation, a new I-20 or support letter may be issued. Reported being inside the U.S. with plans to travel but will return to the U.S. If you are currently studying in the U.S. and plan to travel out of the country, remember to check page 2 of your I‐20 or page 1 of your DS‐2019 for a valid travel signature. Travel signatures are required for current students to re-enter the U.S. and are valid for one year from the date last signed. For students on OPT, signatures are valid for only six months from the date last signed. If you are traveling within the U.S., you do not need a travel signature, but you must carry identification documents with you, including your I‐20 or DS‐2019, I‐94 record, and a valid passport.  How to get a travel signatureYou can submit your travel signature request for your I-20 or DS-2019 document using the ISSC self-service portal.
