As we approach the end of the fall semester, Arizona State University’s Student Success Centers offer free academic resources and support for all students at all campuses, including tutoring and test preparation services, writing support, study groups and even places to study. Here are some additional resources.International Student Convocation The International Students and Scholars Center and International Student Engagement Office invite you to attend the International Student Convocation to celebrate and honor your accomplishment and commitment. Please join us on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Student Pavilion on the Tempe campus.Internship Employment Authorization Will you be registering for a spring 2019 internship? If so, it’s time to apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT). The process is quick and easy! Simply discuss your eligibility for an internship with your academic advisor and then complete the CPT I-20 Request eForm. Plan early as it can take up to 10 days after your academic advisor approves your submission for you to receive your CPT authorized I-20.International travel reminder If you are planning to travel outside the U.S. during winter break, you must have the following documents to return to the U.S. in F-1 or J-1 status:Valid F-1 or J-1 visa stamp.Valid I-20 or DS-2019 with travel signature signed by ISSC within one year.Valid passport.Enrollment verification and ASU unofficial transcript.Update your address Update your local address, SEVIS (home country) address, and phone number online in My ASU by clicking the Profile tab.Winter break office hours The ISSC is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the semester break, and will only be closed for the following days:Monday, Dec. 24Tuesday, Dec. 25Tuesday, Jan. 1 Please contact the ISSC with any questions at 480-727-4776 or ISSC@asu.edu
