The events are listed in Arizona time, , but you are encouraged to attend no matter where you’re located. For all Zoom events, you are required to register using your ASU email address.

FSE Undergraduate Students CPT Session
Thursday, Feb. 8

This ISSC and FSE schools joint session will feature the ISSC representative and your school representative presenting CPT regulations, your school's CPT policies, and the application processes for both your school and ISSC. This session will help you better prepare for the upcoming university career fairs and FSE career fairs. Don't miss this one-stop learning opportunity!


Chinese New Year Celebration

Come and celebrate Chinese New Year with us. Bring friends, play some games, and try Chinese cuisine!


Learn Arizona: Hiking!
Friday, Feb. 9
2–5 p.m.
Meet in front of the ISSC
SSV Suite 170, Tempe campus.

Arizona has so much to offer when it comes to hiking, so come join us on a hike that starts on campus! This hiking event is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow students and discover the great outdoors as we go on a local hike. While hiking, you will learn more about local hikes as well as hikes further away. At the end of the hike, you can always join us for a sunset at 'A' Mountain, which we will pass by on our way home.

You will be hiking for the whole event, so don't forget to grab your hiking shoes and a water bottle.


First Year Student Connect

The First-Year Student Connect is a program designed for first-year undergraduate students to connect with each other and learn tips on adjusting to new life and navigating resources at ASU. Through this program, you will be able to CONNECT with other students and the ISSC staff, LEARN tips on adjusting to a new culture and resources on and off campus, as well as discover opportunities such as getting involved on campus, volunteering, and searching for on-campus jobs. You can also INFORM the ISSC team if there is anything else we could do to enhance your first-year student experience. Most importantly, you are not alone during your first year at ASU! We hope you will join us.


Graduation and Post-OPT Session for FSE International Students

Join the FSE Graduation and Beyond session to get yourself ready for your spring graduation. Graduation applications, ceremonies, and Post-OPT applications will be covered in this session.


Valentine's Day Celebration

ISSC, Lantana Sun Devil Sync, and International Sun Devils invite you to join a love-filled Valentine's Day celebration!


Game Night
Wednesday, Feb. 14
5–7 p.m.
P.O.D. Market, Hayden Library, Tempe campus.

Roll your dice and be the board game King or Queen for the night! ISSC and the library will host a tabletop game night once a month on the 2nd Wednesday of every month in Hayden Library for international students, as well as domestic students! This event is a great way to get to know other students, as well as librarians and the library resources. If you have a board game you would like to request for one of our game nights, please let us know in advance, and we will try to accommodate it!


ISSC Volunteer Meeting

Join our adventure-packed volunteer meeting! We're thrilled to have you join us for activities that involve designing itineraries together—details under wraps for now—and an opportunity for the volunteer committee to share about their upcoming events. Our monthly volunteer meetings are a place to get updates on events, volunteer opportunities, recent job postings, and volunteer training opportunities. Immigration Series: Top 5 Ways to Lose Your F-1 Status

Global Connect

Global Connect is part of the ISSC Connect Series, offering an opportunity for everyone to come together as global citizens, share knowledge, explore opportunities, learn about global cultures, connect with one another, and build lifelong friendships. Our goal is to enhance the student experience through global connections. This event is open to everyone.
