optResources

Greetings from the International Students and Scholars Center at Arizona State University. We are reaching out to all students who may be graduating in either Spring 2024 or Fall 2024 to assist you in starting your search for Optional Practical Training (OPT) opportunities once you graduate. If you are not graduating in the next semester, do not worry —you can still benefit from these resources.

This email, the third in our series, discusses applying for Post-OPT with a focus on networking, mentoring, and skill development. Recently, there have been several career fairs, and we want to encourage you to begin applying for jobs and researching companies you may be interested in.

There are several resources available to you:

  • The company's job search and application page.
  • Handshake, a service offered to ASU students that connects you with companies that are hiring.
  • Career Services resources that connect you with jobs around the world.
  • ISSC's OPT handbook, which includes stories from former students who have navigated the OPT process.

In addition to these resources, consider attending upcoming events as you build your network.
