The International Students and Scholars Center would like to invite you to some events that are happening this summer.Let’s Chat Series There will be weekly Let’s Chat Series workshops throughout the summer. The first summer workshop, “English Pronunciation,” is this Friday. When: Friday, May 24, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Where: Student Services Building Amphitheater (right next to the ISSC office)Students with strong communication skills receive higher grades and show higher satisfaction with their education experience as a whole, according to research done in 2018. ISSC’s Let’s Chat Series offers fun, interactive communication workshops and is free to international students and scholars.Coffee and Conversation Hour Coffee and Conversation Hour will be held every week throughout the summer. When: Every Friday from 3 to 4 p.m., beginning this Friday, May 24 Where: Student Services Building Amphitheater (right next to the ISSC office)Join us to meet new people and have a good time! We always have games and snacks, including popcorn, juice, coffee and tea. If there is a holiday you would like us to celebrate at a future Coffee and Conversation Hour event, let us know this Friday.
