Global Professional Preparation Academy


This semester-long series is for students wanting to build their professional portfolios. Workshops are hosted by ISSC, Career Services and the W. P. Carey School of Business and include resume and cover letter writing assistance, interviewing and networking tips, community service opportunities, and more. 

 

The program is designed to help first-year students get on-campus jobs and build career portfolios, but workshops are open to all students. If you are a first-year student not enrolled in our First-year Student Canvas course, contact us today.

Success at ASU: A career and professional conference for future global citizens

Friday, Oct. 20, 1–4:30 p.m.

 

Success at ASU is an opportunity for students to network and learn from current student leaders, supporting faculty, staff and alumni about their journeys as global leaders. Potential employers also host panel discussions and career building workshops. During the conference, attendees will also showcase globally minded projects. The conference is free, but registration is required.

Volunteer with ISSC

 

We are looking for globally minded, service-oriented students who would like to volunteer at our events and in our office. As a volunteer assistant you will offer in-person customer service, set up and run events, assist with check-in and more. This position is great for a detail-oriented, flexible student with good multitasking skills.

Chinese (Mandarin) Student Volunteer Program

 

This volunteer program assists all Mandarin Chinese students with adjusting to university life. The team helps foster connections and support among students, while empowering them to grow personally and professionally.
