No matter where you are this fall, the ISSC invites you to join us for an array of both in-person and virtual engagement opportunities. If you have any questions, please email InternationalWelcome@asu.edu.

For all zoom events, the ISSC requires all attendees to register using their ASU email address. Please do not use your personal email address to register for these events.

Success at ASU: A Career and Professional Conference for Future Global Citizens

Success at ASU offers an opportunity for students to network with and learn from current ASU student leaders, as well as supporting faculty and staff, about their journeys as global leaders. Participants will also have the option to showcase globally-minded projects. The conference is FREE to all ASU students, faculty, and staff. Registration required.

Global Friends

Join our bi-weekly Global Friends events. First-year international students, domestic students who have or intend to travel abroad, and any ASU students who are interested in learning about other cultures are welcome to join our conversation hour. This will be a time to share cultural exchange, knowledge of other countries, and create friendships that span the globe. Feel free to come to one or more of our bi-weekly events. STEM OPT Mandatory Reporting

Learn Arizona: Thrifting

The Learn Arizona: Thrifting event will have a short presentation and Q&A talking about thrift store shopping! Find out what you can buy at thrift stores, where you can find thrift stores, and the differences between certain thrift stores (also known as consignment shops) and vintage shops. Thrifting is not only affordable with unique clothes, furniture, and items to be found but it is also very sustainable!

After the presentation, there will be a voluntary trip for students who would like to join on a trip to a nearby consignment store.

Fashion Forward

Fashion Forward 2023: ASU Clothing Drive and Clothing Closet Clothing exchange for sustainable fashion! All day we will have 2nd hand clothing for all students to take away! The closet will stay open while supplies last. Take away quantities will be limited based on volume received. Bring your own reusable bag for your takeaways and you can select an additional item.

Yoga on the North Library Patio

Game Night

Roll your dice and be the board game King or Queen for the night! ISSC and the library will have a table top game night once a month on the 2nd Wednesday of every month in Hayden Library for international students, as well as domestic students! This event is great to get to know other students as well as librarians and the library resources. If you have a board game you would like to request for one of our game nights, please let us know in advance and we will request it!
