Fees related to international students
As an international student, you will be required to submit payments for the following
I-901 SEVIS Fee
International students issued an initial I-20 or DS-2019 are required to pay a mandatory SEVIS I-901 fee to the U.S. Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). See SEVIS fee payment tutorial
F-1 and J-1 Application Visa Fee
This fee is paid to the U.S. Consulate when you apply for a new F-1 or J-1 visa. Students entering the U.S. with a Canadian passport are not required to obtain a F-1 or J-1 visa.
International Student Fee
The international student fee covers the cost of SEVIS reporting requirement, record management, immigration advising, and programming and workshops in support of students across all ASU locations. This fee will be automatically added to your ASU billing account every semester.
OPT Case Management Payment (F-1 students only)
The OPT Case Management Payment covers the cost of SEVIS reporting compliance and record management for students on post-completion OPT.
