On July 17, 2026, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security published a final rule eliminating Duration of Status for certain nonimmigrant students and exchange visitors. ASU official records
Academic records requirement
As a sponsored student, your sponsor will require you to send academic records to them upon request, typically after the end of each semester or anytime during your course of study at ASU.
Examples of these academic records include the following:
- Class schedule: Your sponsor may ask for this at the beginning of each semester
- Enrollment verifications
- Official transcripts
- Unofficial transcripts
Please note all of the above academic records can be obtained via self-service on My ASU. Visit the home tab of your My ASU account for further instructions.
If you like, you can also provide your Sponsor Guest Access to view your ASU records directly, including retrieving your class schedule, enrollment verification and obtaining an unofficial transcript. Go to your Profile tab in My ASU, select the Add a Guest option and follow the instructions.
