Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from Arizona State University. We would like to remind you that as an F-1 student, you have a 60-day grace period after your degree completion date to apply for Optional Practical Training, start a new program at ASU, transfer to a new institution, apply for a change in visa status or leave the U.S. Please keep in mind that on-campus employment cannot continue after degree completion.
What to do after graduation
If you wish to apply for Optional Practical Training , you must request a Post-OPT I-20 from the ISSC and file an I-765 application with USCIS before the end of your 60-day grace period. Do not delay — submit your Post-OPT I-20 Request eForm to the ISSC today.
