COVID-19 vaccination requirements

Students planning to re-enter the U.S. must be fully vaccinated in order to enter the U.S. Any ASU student not vaccinated can receive vaccines for free at any ASU Health Services location. ASU Health Services has locations on all four campuses, and you can walk in or make an appointment through the patient health portal

We also encourage you to review the CDC’s website for a list of acceptable vaccines and other important information.

If you are traveling within the U.S., you do not need a travel signature, but you must carry identification documents with you, including your I‐20 or DS‐2019, a printout of your I‐94, and a valid passport.

How to get a travel signature

Submit a travel signature request for your I-20 or DS-2019 document using the ISSC self-service portal. Remember that a travel signature is NOT required to depart the U.S. It is only required when re-entering.
