Important immigration-related updates and requests are now available as eForms within our self-service portal. This will enable current international students and scholars to complete requests related to their immigration needs. From the portal, you can upload documents and get up-to-date information about your case status.

Most ASU students can access ISSC eForms, but there are a couple of exceptions:

  • Students who are newly admitted to ASU cannot access ISSC eForms, but should continue to work with Admissions Services to receive their I-20 or for other immigration-related inquiries.

  • Students who are admitted to Global Launch at ASU cannot access ISSC eForms, but should continue to work with Global Launch to receive their I-20 or for other immigration-related inquiries.

An eForm is an electronic process that enables current international students and scholars to digitally submit requests related to their immigration needs. 

WHO CAN ACCESS ISSC EFORMS?

All current international students in F-1 or J-1 status, and all current international scholars in J-1 status.

Only current students in F-1 or J-1 status, and all current international scholars in J-1 status, are able to access ISSC eForms. You will need to sign in using your ASURITE and password. 

If you are unable to submit the eForm, keep the following in mind: 

  • The form will not allow .bmp or .tiff files. 
  • Attachments larger than 2MB cannot be uploaded.

If you cannot access the eForm, please try the following: 

  1. Switch your internet browser
  2. Delete your browser history
  3. Clear your cache

If you are an F-1 student you can only access eForms for F-1 students. If you are a J-1 student, you can only access eForms for J-1 students under J-1 Student Services. If you are a J-1 scholar, you can only access eForms under J-1 Scholar Services. If you are unable to access an eForm that you believe you should have access to, please email internationaltech@asu.edu and let us know which eForm you cannot access.

ISSC is continually working on improving our processes and developing new eForms. If the request that you wish to make is not available online now, please check back in the future. In the meantime, please contact ISSC@asu.edu to learn what is the procedure for your request.

Some eForms will only permit you to submit one request, check that you have not already submitted it.

If you are unable to submit the eForm, keep following in mind: 

  • The form will not allow .bmp or .tiff files.

You may not have completed all of the required fields. Please review your answers and update fields that require an answer. If you continue having issues with the eForm, please email us at internationaltech@asu.edu with a screenshot of the error message and any specific information you may have about the error.

Acceptable file formats include JPEG, JPG, PNG, PDF and GIF. Files should be smaller than 2 MB. If you use your phone to take a picture of your documents, please ensure that your setting is for small size and check your picture to make sure your document is clear and legible.

Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari are browsers that are known to be compatible.

Yes, you should be able to access the eForms, as well as submit pictures of your documents directly from your device.

Login into istart.asu.edu and find the eForm that you submitted, scroll to the bottom of the eForm, and click cancel.

Login into istart.asu.edu and find the eForm that you submitted. At the top of the eForm the status will be listed.

No. Students who are interested in applying to ASU should not access ISSC eForms. Please visit the Admissions Services website to apply and work with Admission Services related to your application.

The first eForm that you will have complete here will be your SEVIS new student check-in. You must submit this eForm upon arrival to the United States and it must be completed within 30 days of your start date on your I-20. For any concerns or questions related to your I-20 or other immigration-related inquiries prior to this, please continue to work with Admissions Services.

No. You must log in using your ASURite ID. You should never share your login or password with your friends.

Most students have reported that they have been successful at logging into ISSC eForms. If you are having any problems in your country, please contact your service provider.

CAN I SUBMIT MULTIPLE EFORMS?

Yes. You can submit different eForm requests at the same time, but, in most cases, you cannot submit the same request multiple times. For example, if you would like to request a travel signature but have your friend pick it up for you, you will submit two eForms at the same time. You may submit the travel signature request at the same time that you submit the Authorization eForm for a representative to pick up your documents.

If you are an undergraduate student, go to MyASU and look at the My Programs.

If you are a graduate student, an academic advisor has to be a person who knows your academic progress and plan, such as academic success specialist, program manager, dean, dissertation chair, etc.

You will receive an automated email after your academic advisor completed their part and submitted the email. Your eForm status will also change to “Pending Status.”

The ISSC will process your request up to 10 business days after your academic advisor has submitted their part (if applicable).

At the bottom of the eForm, click on the “Submit” button. You may save a draft if you would like to come back at a later time. Do not click the “Cancel” button. Clicking the “Cancel” button means that you’ve cancelled your submission.

If you are using a public computer, you should first log out. Otherwise, please close the browser window to close the eForm.

Click the “New” button at the bottom of the eForm to complete a new eForm.
