Making Spring Travel Plans?
Are you planning to travel during the spring semester? Be sure to submit your travel signature request to the ASU International Students and Scholars Center early to avoid any delays.
Do you need a travel signature?
If you are planning to travel out of the country, remember to check page 2 of your I‐20 or page 1 of your DS‐2019 for a valid travel signature. Travel signatures are required to re-enter the U.S., and are valid for one year from the date last signed for current students. For students on OPT, signatures are valid for only six months from the date last signed.
If you are traveling within the U.S., you do not need a travel signature, but you must carry identification documents with you, including your I‐20 or DS‐2019, printout of your I‐94, and a valid passport.
How to get a travel signature
You can submit your travel signature request for your I-20 or DS-2019 document using the ISSC Self-Service Portal. Processing can take up to 10 business days.
Questions or concerns should be directed to the International Students and Scholars Center at 480-727-4776 or email@example.com.
