isscWelcome

The International Students and Scholars Center is excited to welcome you to Arizona State University and the start of the spring 2024 semester. We are here to help you. The ISSC staff can assist you with student visa-related questions, documents, compliance concerns and any additional support you may need. We also offer a wide range of in-person and virtual programs and workshops during the semester of which you can participate.

The ISSC is pleased to announce that we have a new processing time for all requests. Beginning this semester, the processing time is now up to 7 business days, which does not include weekends or ASU observed holidays. During peak seasons, processing times may be more than 7 business days as we deal with a higher volume of requests. Additionally, if your request is missing documents or requires follow up information, it may impact the processing time of your request. Rest assured that we are always trying to review and approve requests as quickly as we can.

In order to provide you with the support and services you need, there are multiple ways you can contact us:
  • Email us at issc@asu.edu. Your question will be answered within two business days. Emails are best for general or individual specific questions that are not time-sensitive.
  • Call us at 480-727-4776. Calling is best for time-sensitive general questions. Please do not call for answers to specific immigration questions.
  • Join us for Drop-in Immigration Advising via Zoom or in-person. Drop-in Immigration advising is limited to 20 minutes or less and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Visit our Tempe campus office in the Student Services Building, suite 170, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Visits are best for general questions that are not time-sensitive, and for signatures on SSN employment offer letters.
  • (Lake Havasu) To meet with an advisor at the Lake Havasu location, please contact Laura Shuffler, designated school official, at laura.shuffler@asu.edu or 928-854-9707.

Please join us for our Spring 2024 ISSC Immigration Status Series. The first two events are coming up. In order to register for an ISSC event, you must use your ASU email address.
