✨ What You’ll Gain:

Are you a new initial or transfer international student starting this semester? The SEVIS New Student Check-In is required for international students to report their arrival to the U.S. in order for the ISSC to activate and maintain their immigration status. Join us as we walk you through the SEVIS New Student Check-In process. 

The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University offers opportunities for qualified students to gain engineering research experience. Participants acquire an in-depth understanding of what it would be like to pursue a doctoral degree through a full-time (30 to 40 hours/week) eight-week summer research program. Eligible U.S. citizens, permanent residents, ASU-sponsored F-1/J-1 visa students and international applicants receive a $5,000 stipend and on-campus housing. Research projects across a wide range of engineering fields are available.

This event will provide you with valuable resources and guidance to help you excel in the off-campus job market. We will explore the latest trends in career resources and provide practical tips so that you can successfully search for your ideal position.

Join us for the "End of the term" Celebration! After a semester of hard work and dedication, take this opportunity to unwind and enjoy free food while mingling with peers in a festive atmosphere. The ISSC-FSE international volunteers and panelists who have participated in our fall 2024 events will be recognized. Volunteers and panelists will share their experiences and strategies on how they prepared for their roles, offering valuable insights and advice to help guide your future endeavors. Join us for an evening of celebration, learning, and enjoyment!

Roll your dice and be the board game King or Queen for the night! ISSC and the library will have a table top game night once a month on the 2nd Wednesday of every month in Hayden Library for international students, as well as domestic students! This event is great to get to know other students as well as librarians and the library resources. If you have a board game you would like to request for one of our game nights, please let us know in advance and we will request it!
