Receiving Documents

Home / Students / Receiving Your Documents

Beginning May 11, 2020, as per COVID-19 guidance from SEVP, the ISSC will temporarily be sending students’ Forms I-20 electronically to email addresses listed in SEVIS.  You will need to print your new I-20 and sign it in the Student Attestation section.  Please be sure to have a physical copy of this I-20 for official use.  These I-20's can be used in the same way as previously issued I-20's.

If you are unable to print your Form I-20, you may request to have a copy of the I-20 mailed to you that was sent to you via email.  Please see the below options to choose an option for receiving a printed copy of your electronically sent I-20.

  • Students who are newly admitted to ASU and requesting their initial I-20 should continue to work with Admissions Services to receive their I-20.

  • Students who are admitted to Global Launch at ASU should continue to work with Global Launch to receive their I-20.

  • J-1 students who need their DS-2019, will need to select one of the options below as current U.S. Department of State guidelines do not allow these documents to be sent electronically.

Print your I-20 at an ASU Library

If you do not have access to a printer, you can visit the ASU Libraries to have your I-20 printed. ASU Libraries are open every weekday for staff and students. For information on hours of operation, please visit their website

*eShipGlobal Reminders

  • Due to Governor Ducey's Stay at Home order, the ISSC is processing eShip Global shipments remotely. This may cause delays with express or overnight shipping options selected with Fedex, UPS, or DHL. Shipments are only processed Monday through Friday and shipments submitted after 12 p.m. on Friday may not be processed until the following Monday. Please keep these time restraints in mind when inquiring about the status of your order and be aware that at any time you can check the status of your shipment in your UEMS account under “Shipment History”. Please know that despite these circumstances your requests are important to us and ISSC is processing your orders as quickly and efficiently as we can.

  • Make sure to enter your name exactly as it appears on your passport.

  • Select the International Students and Scholars Center as the sender address.

  • Enter your student ID in the Student ID field.

  • Pay close attention to the information submitted, as errors in the credit card information or submitting incorrect or incomplete address information will result in a delay of your request.

  • In addition to having your document shipped to you, you can also use eShipGlobal to ship your documents to the ISSC.

If you have questions about how to use eShipGlobal, please visit eShipGlobal FAQs or email student.support@eshipglobal.com.
