Driver's License

Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Services provides services for vehicle title and registration, and issues Arizona Driver Licenses and State ID cards.

Campus Transportation

Campus Shuttles

ASU provides intercampus shuttles between the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe and West campuses, as well Scottsdale Mayo Clinic. For more information and schedules, please go to ASU Parking and Transit.

West - Tempe Express provides a direct route between the West and Tempe campuses | Mon.–Fri. 

Mercado route provides service between the Mercado building on the Downtown Phoenix campus and the Tempe campus | Mon - Fri

Maroon route provides service between Downtown Phoenix, Tempe and West campuses | Mon - Fri

Gold route provides service between Polytechnic and Tempe campuses | Mon - Fri

Weekday shuttles operate on school days through university commencement when class is in session during the fall and spring semesters.

Campus Parking

ASU offers meter parking, one-day pass, lot parking, and structure parking for cars and motorcycles. For more information on parking rates and availability of parking permit, please go to ASU Parking and Transit.

Biking

ASU offers bike racks, bike valet, and card-access bicycle parking. All bicycles must be parked and locked at the designated bike racks/location only. ASU also required students who bring a bicycle to campus to register their bike with ASU either in-person or through online registration.

You can also repair your Bike on campus at the Tempe, Downtown Phoenix and the Polytechnic campuses’ Bike Co-op. 

Public transportation

ASU Transit Pass for students can be used for rides on the Valley-Metro Bus and Light Rail

City Shuttles:

Tempe Orbit and Flash are free bus transportation services in the Tempe area from and to the ASU main campus operating during the week from Monday through Friday, except on University Holidays

Phoenix DASH is the Phoenix Downtown Shuttle that operates on weekdays only.

Scottsdale Trolley: Scottsdale's free trolley system links residents and visitors to entertainment, restaurants, shopping, schools, parks and health services.

Mobile Phone Services

Several mobile phone services offer student discount and are located around ASU campuses. This includes AT&T, Cricket, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless and other services.
