Research Experience with FURI & MORE

Are you interested in gaining hands-on lab experience and enhancing your engineering education? Join us for an insightful session where international students who have participated in the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI) and the Master’s Opportunity for Research in Engineering (MORE) will share their experiences and offer application tips.

The Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI) provides undergraduate students in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering with opportunities for hands-on lab experience, independent research, and travel to national conferences. Participants can receive a stipend of $1,500 and develop skills that will be attractive to future employers and graduate programs. Hear from previous international FURI participants about their projects and experiences. 

The Master’s Opportunity for Research in Engineering (MORE) enhances the graduate curriculum with hands-on lab experience, faculty mentorship, and independent research. Participants receive a stipend of $1,500 and up to $400 in research supplies. Learn from previous international MORE participants about their research journeys and get valuable advice on the application process.
