On July 17, 2026, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security published a final rule eliminating Duration of Status for certain nonimmigrant students and exchange visitors. Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering students have access to the Engineering Career Center. The career center provides resources and guidance to help students strengthen their candidacy and to effectively communicate their qualifications to be more competitive throughout the application process. The career center hosts employers on-campus and online, including informal tabling and formal job fair events.
