On July 17, 2026, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security published a final rule eliminating Duration of Status for certain nonimmigrant students and exchange visitors. Kick off your career journey at ASU by finding your people and finding your path! Join Career Services and the International Students and Scholars Center (ISSC) for an engaging event designed to help international students build connections and prepare for success in the U.S. job market.
We'll begin with an interactive networking activity where you'll meet fellow international students, expand your community, and connect with peers who share similar career goals. **Please arrive on time so you don't miss this activity!**
Following the networking session, the ISSC Director will present on: Work Authorization & Job Hunting for International Students, covering F-1 employment options such as CPT, OPT, and STEM OPT, key employment regulations, job search best practices, and common mistakes to avoid. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance from ISSC and Career Services staff.
Whether you're just starting to explore your career options or preparing for internships and full-time opportunities, this event will give you the knowledge, resources, and connections to begin your journey with confidence.
