Celebrating the impact of our international students

Arizona State University is proud to be the #1 public university for hosting international students, with over 17,600 international students from more than 160 countries enrolled annually.

I encourage visitors to this page to read through the many newsworthy updates about our international students. From these stories, it is clear that they enrich our community with their presence and perspectives, and drive innovation and novel solutions with their talents.

Our international student community not only enhances the academic experience at ASU, but also supports the broader economy. In the 2023–2024 academic year, international students contributed $44 billion to the U.S. economy, bolstering local businesses and job markets.

In short, we all benefit from having the world's best and brightest educated in the U.S.

True to our charter principles, ASU remains committed to fostering an environment where students from all backgrounds can thrive and collaborate to address global challenges.

We continue to closely review all policies and federal decisions that impact international students. We are communicating all updates to international students and their families. If you are an international student, please check your
asu.edu email regularly. We invite students and parents to contact us if you have any unanswered questions.
